FEDA is ushering in the New Year with a few changes. The Board of Directors welcomes Lori Schaefer-Weaton as the new President and Greg Lowenberg, and Art Sathoff as new Directors. The two new directors assume 3 year directorships and replace retiring Pat Doyle and Dave Reiff. Mrs. Schaefer-Weaton is replacing Mr. Doyle as President.
“As President of the FEDA Board of Directors, Pat has served with distinction. He championed such activities as the Fairfield Existing Business Initiative andProject Grow Our Own; he will be missed and I personally appreciate his service to the community and his friendship,” Tracy Vance, FEDA, Executive Director.
Lori Schaefer-Weaton, Director of Business Development for Agri-Industrial Plastics is originally from Fairfield, Iowa. Mrs. Schaefer-Weaton went to college in Indiana, completed an executive MBA program at Northwestern University, and started her career in Chicago with a technology services company before returning to her hometown. Mrs. Schaefer-Weaton has served on the FEDA Board of Directors since January 2008.
Tracy comments, “Lori has a real commitment to economic development and under her leadership the Fairfield Economic Development Association will continue to be a strong force shaping Fairfield’s future.”
