Tracy R. Vance, Chamber Executive Director

Tracy joined the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce in May of 2011 as the Executive Director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield Economic Development Association. Previous to joining the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Tracy served as the Executive Director of the Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce in Fort Madison, Iowa, owned his own small business and served ten years on the Lee County Board of Supervisors.

Serving as the Chief Administrative Officer for both organizations, Tracy is charged with administrative oversight; policy and program development; new and existing business growth and retention; membership relations; and local, regional, state and federal governmental relations and policy advocacy.

Tracy received his A.A. degree from Southeastern Community College, West Burlington, Iowa and his B.A. degree from Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois.

Tracy has been married to his wife, Janet, for twenty one years and they have one son, Ross, who is a student/athlete at Iowa Wesleyan College.
