Brent M. Willett, Executive Director

Brent Willett was appointed as Executive Director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield Economic Development Association in March of 2007. Under his leadership, the FEDA and Chamber represents nearly 450 businesses, businesspeople and elected officials in the Fairfield area. Brent is responsible for all FEDA and Chamber strategic planning, programming, operations and financial stewardship. Prior to his installation in Fairfield, Brent was with the Iowa Department of Economic Development in Des Moines.

Brent is originally from Davenport, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa.

Samuel E. Busch

Samuel E. Busch, FEDA Administrator

Sam joined FEDA in October 2007. He started his career with the U.S. Marine Corps and was selected to be a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. After serving honorably for 8 years, Sam joined Lucky Stores/Albertsons Inc. He managed the Office Services department, where he successfully planned, negotiated and implemented the first ever internet office supply ordering process for the entire division, which included four distribution centers, five division offices and over 1,000 stores. Sam later moved into marketing, sales and finally to computer operations.

Prior to joining FEDA, Sam worked as a Project Manager developing customized websites, web software applications, interactive videos, video games and implementing internet marketing and re-branding campaigns. Some of the more notable clients Sam worked with were JP Morgan Chase, Hansen’s Beverage Co., Blue Sky Beverage Co., Monster Energy, Anaheim Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.

In his current position with FEDA, Sam works closely with the Executive Director Brent Willett to develop and implement new programs. His responsibilities include information gathering and dissemination as well as web development and entrepreneurial cultivation. Sam successfully managed the design and development of FEDA’s first website. He brings to our organization mature research and web development skills, high-powered information delivery capabilities and a voracious appetite to learn and tell the story of Fairfield.

Sam is originally from Baltimore, MD. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, Long Beach, CA; Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, Long Beach, CA; Master of Business Administration from Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IA.
