Since 1977, the Fairfield Economic Development Association (FEDA) has been a cornerstone in our community's building process. FEDA is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors that works closely with local community development organizations, financial institutions, businesses, industries, as well as agencies and elected officials in local, county, state and federal government.

Brent M. Willett, Executive Director
Brent Willett was appointed as Executive Director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield Economic Development Association in March of 2007. Under his leadership, the FEDA and Chamber represents nearly 450 businesses, businesspeople and elected officials in the Fairfield area. Brent is responsible for all FEDA and Chamber strategic planning, programming, operations and financial stewardship. Prior to his installation in Fairfield, Brent was with the Iowa Department of Economic Development in Des Moines.
Brent is originally from Davenport, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa.

Pat Doyle, President, Director
Pat is co-owner of the Gamrath-Doyle Insurance Agency, an independent insurance agency that has been serving the Fairfield area for over 60 years. With over 30 years experience in the insurance industry Pat provides extensive knowledge and expertise in all lines of insurance. Pat is a graduate of Fairfield High School and has been very active in the community for many years. He is a past president of the Fairfield Jaycees and the Fairfield Optimist Club and a past member of the Fairfield Rotary Club. He served six years on the Fairifeld Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors including one year as President. Pat currently serves as President of the Fairfield Economic Development Association.

Craig Foss, Treasurer
Craig is a shareholder of Foss, Kuiken, Gookin, and Cochran P.C. law firm and has practiced law in Fairfield more than 30 years. He has served on the Fairfield Economic Development Association board more than 15 years and has served as president 3 of those years. Craig is also a former member of the Fairfield Community School District school board having served almost 10 years with 3 years as president. And Craig is also a former president and director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, a member and past president of the Fairfield Rotary Club, and former director and chairman of the Fairfield Park and Recreation Board.

David S. Reiff
David S. Reiff, President of Reiff Grain & Feed, Inc., since 1976, was born in Ida Grove, Iowa. A graduate of Holstein High School, class of 1967, Dave was raised on his family farm in Ida County, Iowa. Dave attended Iowa State University 1967-1969 but graduated from the University of Iowa in 1971 with a Bachelors of Business Administration specializing Financial Management.
Dave started his career at R.G. Dickinson an Investment Brokerage firm with offices in Des Moines and Iowa City from 1971-1974. He then came to Fairfield with Condon Grain & Feed and worked in Sales and Service from 1974-1976. Later in 1976, Dave bought in and became President of Reiff Grain & Feed where he’s been ever since. Dave has served recently on the Boards of National Grain & Feed Association and the Ag Association of Iowa. He currently sits of the Board of Directors for the Fairfield Iowa Rotary, Unity Energy, LLC and Unity Biofuels, LLC., and FEDA, since 1991.
Dave is currently resides in Fairfield with his wife Diane who works at Kim’s Kottage in Sales. They’re proud parents of three beautiful daughters. Emily Reiff, PhD. Medicinal Chemistry, Kansas University, and currently works for Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, NJ. Molly Martlin graduated University of Iowa and currently works in environmental design. Lindsay Reiff graduated Savannah College of Art and Design and currently works for Meredith Publishing in New York City, NY.
Frank Fritz
Frank Fritz, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary/Treasurer of Dexter Apache Holdings, Inc. was born in Washington, Iowa assumes a spot on the FEDA Board in his 14th year with Dexter. A Coe College graduate, Fritz grew up on a small family farm near the Pleasant Plain and Brighton area. He relocated to Fairfield in 1994 following 13 years as a staff accountant at McGladrey & Pullen in Cedar Rapids and a year as CFO of Johnson Gas Appliance Company.
Fritz is a member of the First National Bank of Fairfield, Iowa Board of Directors and is a former director of the Fairfield Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield Golf & Country Club and the Iowa Chapter of the ESOP Association. He is a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fairfield Golf & Country Club, and Fairfield Elks Lodge. He and his wife, Julie, are the parents of a daughter, Samantha, 10.

J. Daniel Sullivan
Senior Vice President, Marketing, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
Dan Sullivan serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. – a nationally recognized independent Broker/Dealer with more than $20 billion assets under administration. Mr. Sullivan joined Cambridge in July 2006 with 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. At Cambridge, Mr. Sullivan is particularly focused on expanding Cambridge’s Practice Management area to help Rep/Advisors build their businesses. Additional responsibilities include supervisory duties over the Cambridge Asset Allocation Program, Corporate Communications, Product Services, Sales and Public Relations. Mr. Sullivan is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative, General Securities Principal, and Municipal Bond Principal. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor and holds various insurance licenses. His designations include Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Chartered Financial Consultant.
In addition to his role at Cambridge, Mr. Sullivan has been President of Spectrum Financial Group, Inc. since 1992. Spectrum Financial specializes in three key areas: Corporate Retirement Plans including TPA services, Investment Management, and Comprehensive Planning for high net worth families through their Life Strategies Program. For 25 years, Mr. Sullivan earned the ranking of Top Producer with SunAmerica Securities (later known as AIG Financial Advisors, Inc.).
Jodi Kerr
Jodi was born and raised in Sigourney, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her bachelor’s degree in accounting and started her career as a CPA in Fairfield at TD&T Financial Group P.C. (formerly Theobald, Donohue & Thompson, P.C.) in July 1988. She has been a partner in the firm since January 2006.
Jodi has been very involved in the community. She served on the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors for eight years, serving as president in 2001. She is currently very active in the Fairfield Rotary Club (current secretary), the Education Foundation of Fairfield Public Schools (current president), the Birmingham United Methodist Church (current treasurer) and serves as a director on the board of First National Bank in Fairfield.

Lori Schaefer-Weaton
Lori is a Fairfield native and currently is Director of Business Development for Agri-Industrial Plastics. Lori graduated from Fairfield High School in 1985. She then attended and graduated from Valparaiso University, IN, in 1990. In college she majored in Accounting and minored in Marketing and Communications.
Upon graduation she began her career with Comdisco, Inc. a four-billion dollar Tech Services Company. She started in the international accounting division, was a manager in the finance department, then was an equipment trader and most recently was in their strategic planning division.
Lori is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, and sits on the Iowa State Bank Board. Chairman, David Eastburn commented, “We are fortunate to have a director who is a Fairfield native and a second generation director of our bank. Lori will be a valuable asset on guiding our institution in the future”. In addition, she sits on the Advisory Committee for Project Lead the Way and is active in Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), including Co-Chair of the ABI Manufacturing Council. Lori has two daughters, Cami age 9 and Abby age 6.

Ed Malloy, City of Fairfield, Mayor
Ed Malloy was elected Mayor in 2001 and is in his third term. He served on the Fairfield City Council form 1992–2000. Mayor Malloy is also President of Danaher Oil Company — a fuel brokerage operation that began in Fairfield 1983. Mr. Malloy was one of the founding-members of the Fairfield Entrepreneurs Association in 1989. He serves on the board of the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Iowans for a Better Future and the Iowa State University Extension Citizen Advisory Council.
